IPA 2010 Twinning light project Supporting the capacity of CTA for further development of EU information exchange systems |
| Project description: |
This Twinning light project enabled further development of the national EU information exchange systems through improvement of relevant procedures, establishment of more efficient monitoring and managing system and has strengthened the capacity of relevant CTA employees. It will provide further IT assistance to the CTA related to development and implementation of EU information exchange systems, having in mind the CTA obligation to ensure full operational implementation and full functionality of EU information exchange systems as well as effective administrative co-operation with the EU Member States, DG TAXUD and communication with other relevant stakeholders. |
| Project aims: |
Expected benefits of the project are:
1. Recommendations for further development of EU information exchange systems and further improvement of related business processes (from IT aspect) were produced.
2. More efficient monitoring and management of EU information exchange systems was proposed through preparation of recommendations, design of the Service Desk and development of the Operational Guidelines.
3. Monitoring support related to conformance testing in general and for the first phase for the MOSS development was provided.
4. Service Level Agreements (SLA) documents with all relevant stakeholders were analyzed and recommendations for cooperation among relevant stakeholders were produced.
5. Capacity of CTA officials regarding monitoring and management of EU information exchange systems are strengthened. |
