Upgrade and maintenance of the Gazetteer of Geographical Names geoinformation system from 01.12.-31.12.2015 |
| Project description: |
In order to upgrade the geoinformation system of the Gazetteer of Geographical Names view services based on OGC WMS standards will be made. Also it will be provided the access to the web site administration and given the support in the event of migration to a new platform. Maintenance of the system relates to oversight of the database, making archive copies of the databases, troubleshoot and solving malfunctions, optimization of databases and providing customer support. |
| Project aims: |
The project aims include:
1. Upgrade service:
- Creating a view network service based on OGC WMS standard and adjustment to the RGI's WebGIS application.
- Giving administration access for the website.
- Assistance in the case of migration to a new platform.
- Regular maintenance of the system.
2. Maintenance service:
- Monitoring, maintenance and database management.
- Making archive copies of database.
- Elimination of defects and difficulties in operation.
- Optimization of the database.
- Customer support. |
